Set the document order first
If order matters, name files clearly: 01-introduction, 02-details and 03-appendix. The merge tool processes files in the order they are added, so review the list before running it.
Check sizes and page orientation
A merged file can contain a mix of landscape and portrait pages. Each page normally retains its original dimensions. Open the combined PDF on mobile and desktop, especially before printing.
Review before sharing
Verify that no pages, links or important forms are missing. Modifying digitally signed PDFs can invalidate signatures; avoid editing such documents if the signature must remain legally valid.
Keep your documents private
Local processing means there is no need to send confidential contracts or bank statements to a document-processing server. Protect your device and remove sensitive downloads when no longer needed.
